In Bloom
by Theodora Malison

Though the first day of spring was March 20th, we’ve had it on our minds at Suburban Life/ Philadelphia Life from the moment we heard “six more weeks of winter.” Since we lucked out with minimal snowfall and milder temperatures this winter, we started planning for spring a little early this year. It’s officially time to tuck away those knee highs and cable knit sweaters and spring ahead to the breezy blouses and pastel hues some of our area’s favorite stores are offering this season.

Tied Up
We can’t think of anything quite cuter than a blouse that not only incorporates all of our spring must-haves, but is also accented with bows. With flowing bell sleeves, this blouse is right on trend and ideal for all warm or cool temperatures.

Step Forward
This wedge by Marc Fisher appears to be high on the fashion forecast among bloggers and style gurus alike. With an artfully braided platform and perforated suede vamp, it might be the only sandal you’ll want to wear this season.

Showstopper
It’s no doubt the bright colors of a spring wardrobe make a statement, but this piece by John Hardy could be enough to steal the show. Dainty enough for everyday wear, but flashy enough for special occasions, this interwoven sterling silver and 18K gold bracelet can be worn with anything.
$995 to $1,030 at Saks Fifth Avenue, 2 Bala Plaza, Bala Cynwyd, (610) 667- 1550, SaksFifthAvenue.com

It’s a Breeze
One of our favorite staples for the season is the sundress, and this one from the Cupcakes and Cashmere’s spring 2017 collection is at the top of our list. The colorfully striped chevron pattern, delicate cross-back straps and a mid-length skirt make this piece transitional from work right into happy hour.

Red Hot
Michael Kors is heating up the season with a bright twist on a classic style, and this tote is going to be the go-to of spring. Large enough for all work necessities and small enough to carry for a day in the city, this bright-hued bag is one accessory you won’t want to be without.
