Ready for Summer
From sports and academics to drones and wizardry, explore your many options for spectacular local summer camps and programs.
by Theodora Malison

The Eagles’ Super Bowl win has been a wonderful distraction from an otherwise harsh winter. Even so, the world outside our window will loo k much sunnier— literally and figuratively—in just a few short months, as tree branches bud, flowers poke through the thawed soil and hibe rnating animals wake from a long winter’s nap.

Then, in a blink, it will be summer.

That sweet, wonderful word bears repeating: summer. Ye s, June is right around the corner, meaning now is the time to start planning for what could very well be your best … summer … ever. On t he following pages you’ll find dozens of summer camps and programs designed to exercise the mind, body and soul—from sports and rock ‘n’ r oll to drones and wizardry—offered by local schools, museums and other respected organizations throughout the area. As you’ll discove r, the options are practically limitless.

We’ve made our best efforts to compile the most comprehensive and accurate list possible, but th e dates and details of these programs are always subject to change. In other words, do your own research and follow up to learn of any adjustments to these organizations’ summer lineups.

And remember: Even though the thermometer suggests summer may still be a long way o ff, be sure to make your plans soon, before others swoop in to claim the remaining slots.
