Norman Carpet One
Why local residents choose Norman Carpet One for their flooring needs.
Focus on Norman Carpet One
“We just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our new carpet. Moreover, we were even more pleased with the two gentlemen who did the installation. They were extremely professional, efficient, courteous, and met all of our requests. … In addition, we want to thank you for being patient with us, sending us all the samples to help us make a choice, and doing all you could to seal the deal.”
—Barbara and Raymond P., Norman Carpet One clients from Wynnewood
Unmatched Variety and Quality
Norman Carpet One has been in business since 1978, though the family’s business—now in its fourth generation—dates back to the 1950s. As a result of the relationships the company has fostered over that time as well as its affiliation with the billion-dollar cooperative Carpet One, Norman Carpet One offers an expansive in-stock inventory of flooring. Whether someone seeks high-quality woven wool carpet, handmade oriental rugs, wood flooring, luxury vinyl flooring, ceramic, or stone, Norman Carpet One truly offers options to suit everyone’s needs and tastes.
Uncompromising Service
Norman Carpet One employs a team of in-house designers and commercial carpet specialists who have a passion for flooring. All members of the team build on their knowledge of trends and advances through weekly training to better assist homeowners in their flooring choices. Likewise, Norman Carpet One’s installation team approaches each job with courtesy, efficiency, and safety, driven by the goal to complete the job to the homeowner’s complete satisfaction.
Pillar of the Community
Owner Norman Chaikin, who has lived on the Main Line his entire life, has made every effort to become an integral part of the community. In fact, every month he donates up to 1,000 square feet of carpet to local nonprofit organizations such as the Montgomery County Association for the Blind (shown here) and the Narberth Community Food Bank. Some people might recognize his voice from the radio; his alter ego, “Norman the Floorman,” has been telling jokes on local airwaves for the past 15 years.
Norman Carpet One has locations in Bryn Mawr and Conshohocken. For more information, call (800) 220-RUGS or visit normancarpet.net.
