CHOP Specialty Care Comes to the Main Line
Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s new center in Bryn Mawr will offer world-class care in cardiology and neurology, two pediatric specialties previously unavailable on the Main Line.
Soon, the pediatric cardiac and neurology care families on the Main Line need will be closer than ever before. This fall, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is opening a brand-new Specialty Care Center in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The new center will provide the Main Line region’s only outpatient pediatric cardiology and neurology care. CHOP is ranked in the top 10 in the country in both of these specialties.
The center will also offer top doctors in Gastroenterology and Endocrinology, as well as Echo, EKG, and EEG capabilities for children and teens up to age 18, in one convenient location. It will be staffed by CHOP’s board-certified pediatric specialists and a full-time team of pediatric nurses.
The Best Care, Right Where You Are
CHOP’s new Specialty Care Center in Bryn Mawr will be the latest expansion in the CHOP Care Network, which includes more than 50 primary care offices, specialty care and surgical centers, urgent care centers, and community hospital alliances throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as CHOP’s recently opened hospital in King of Prussia.
CHOP’s new Specialty Care Center in Bryn Mawr will be the latest expansion in the CHOP Care Network, which includes more than 50 primary care offices, specialty care and surgical centers, urgent care centers, and community hospital alliances throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as CHOP’s recently opened hospital in King of Prussia.
The Specialty Care Center in Bryn Mawr will be located at 135 South Bryn Mawr Avenue, at an office suite inside a medical office building on Main Line Health Bryn Mawr Hospital’s campus.
Some specific features of the Specialty Care Center will include:
• A variety of pediatric specialists offering outpatient clinical care
• A specialty Fetal Heart Clinic for pregnant mothers needing prenatal screening and care for suspected congenital heart conditions
• Echo, EKG, and EEG testing
The newly announced affiliation with Main Line Health means CHOP specialists now provide inpatient pediatric care, emergency room coverage, and newborn/ NICU services at nearby Main Line Health locations.
