Better Than Ever
The practitioners of Miracle Dental Center invest in key clinical upgrades and expand access to comprehensive dental care for patients in Bucks County and beyond.

The dental experience can be daunting for some, especially when care involves more than just a simple checkup. With that in mind, the practitioners behind Miracle Dental Center have sought to make dental treatments easier and more accessible by updating and enhancing their capabilities, techniques, and technologies.

Miracle Dental Center was founded by Irina Frolov, D.D.S., who has more than 20 years of experience in dentistry. She began her career in her native Ukraine before moving to the United States and founding her own practice in Bucks County. Her son, Alex Tyurin, D.D.S., joined the practice about a year and a half ago. Striving for the prestigious title of Fellow in Oral Implantology, Dr. Tyurin has helped Dr. Frolov expand the practice’s care options and serve a broader population of patients.

“The last year has brought a lot of change for us,” Dr. Frolov says. “We’ve implemented more modern dental technology that leads to easier visits and less time spent in the chair.”

She cites recent upgrades to its approach to common dental treatments such as root canals and dental implants. Miracle Dental Center offers multiple options for receiving dental implants, so that patients can find the option that best suits their timeline and budget.

“We offer two different types of compliance systems that are designed to help people regardless of their socioeconomic situation,” says Dr. Tyurin. “It’s terrible going without a tooth and stressing over the cost, so the multiple systems we offer help defer those worries. We’re providing services across the entire implant system. We have a goal that we call ‘Smile in a Day, Teeth in a Day.’ That means someone can come in with very destroyed teeth and we can replace them with usable teeth in a few hours, as opposed to a full day or even weeks.”

Likewise, root canal procedures can now be performed more quickly and less invasively than ever before.

“The traditional root canal was very involved,” Dr. Tyurin says. “It required a lot of hand motions and movements that were uncomfortable to the patient. We upgraded with new technology that does the movements for you. It takes the traditional two-hour procedure down to as little as 20 minutes.”

“We also upgraded to a third-hand assistant process, which allows the patient to stay open while keeping the environment sterile,” adds Dr. Frolov. “Root canals fail in a nonsterile environment. We’ve upgraded to a mouthguard that keeps the saliva and bacteria out of the root canal area. It has increased the success rate to the high 90s.”

Another upgrade includes an advanced intra-oral scanner, thereby making dental scans less traumatizing. The new scanner not only works more quickly but also prevents gagging, according to Dr. Tyurin. He adds, “It’s something that our patients have told us improves their experience and allows for our visits to be more productive.”

Patient comfortability is paramount at Miracle Dental Center. For this reason, the practitioners have explored the addition of laser technology to make treatments even easier on patients. Laser dentistry allows for many basic dentistry procedures to be performed without anesthesia and without pain. It tends to work especially well for children and patients who struggle with dental anxiety.

The practice will soon offer nitrous oxide—also known as laughing gas—as an option for anxious adult patients. Offered only by a small percentage of dental practices, nitrous oxide helps with patients who have a fear of needles or even have a hard time sitting in the dental chair.

“We see many patients with dental phobia, so we’ve created a lot of options to help them navigate that phobia easily,” explains Dr. Frolov.

Miracle Dental Center’s clinical team strives to constantly improve and stay up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry. This is particularly true in regards to restoring a patient’s smile in terms of aesthetics and functionality—form and function working in tandem.

“We don’t just replace teeth; we give their existing teeth a second chance,” Dr. Tyurin says. “There’s so much you can do with surgery that extends beyond general dentistry, and I don’t think a lot of people are aware of the potential we have to save their existing teeth.”

These many clinical upgrades mean that patients can start and finish their dental treatments in one location—a “one-stop shop,” in other words. The clinical upgrades go hand in hand with renovations to other aspects of the practice designed to make Miracle Dental Center a truly patient-centered space. For example, the practice is in the process of expanding from three dental chairs to eight, meaning less time between visits and more access to care.

Miracle Dental Center also offers a 24/7 dental text message service monitored by Dr. Tyurin himself, as well as extended clinical hours for greater patient convenience. In addition, the practice’s recently redesigned website, Miracle.Dental, includes a chatbot for better visitor navigation, along with specials and discounts on services such as teeth whitening. Miracle Dental Center accepts most insurances and has a staff trained to work with patients on dental benefits and payment plans.

“We want to be in touch with our patients 24/7, if they need us,” says Dr. Frolov. “We also offer a variety of payment options so that no one feels like they cannot get the care they need.”

Uncompromising care has always been at the center of Miracle Dental Center. Considering the many recent upgrades and advances, Drs. Frolov and Tyurin feel as though they are better equipped than ever to serve patients’ needs and exceed their expectations in the process.

“No one should go without treatment,” Dr. Tyurin says, “and we are dedicated to making sure no one has to.”
