A Lifetime of Smiles
Dr. Tatyana Zaborovsky, the founder of Bucks Mont Dental in North Wales, strives to build lasting relationships with patients rooted in trust, respect, and compassion.

Tatyana Zaborovsky, D.M.D., spent years building her knowledge base, honing her clinical skills, and dreaming of having a dental practice to call her own. Her dream became reality in August 2024, when she purchased an existing practice in North Wales, which she renovated and rebranded as Bucks Mont Dental.

Since taking over the four-chair practice formerly known as Sunflower Family Dental, Dr. Zaborovsky has been working hard to earn the community’s trust, one patient at a time. Rather than luring patients in with glossy marketing materials or aggressive social-media outreach, she has worked hard to attract patients who want an experience far removed from the high-volume corporate clinics that have become prevalent in dentistry. It’s a comfortable and welcoming space where people come not only for painless fillings and no-stress cleanings, but also to feel seen, heard, and valued.

“Opening my own practice has been a very rewarding experience,” she says. “The days are long and hard, but I love what I do. At the end of the day, I get to come home and sleep well at night because I know I’ve spent the day making a difference in other people’s lives.”

The results of her efforts so far: Her patient list has been growing month to month, as have the glowing reviews from satisfied patients.

While Bucks Mont Dental has a modern office equipped with the latest and greatest diagnostic technology, it’s the genuine connection Dr. Zaborovsky forms with each patient that serves as the practice’s beating heart. Whether a patient requires a consultation, a routine cleaning, or a complex surgical procedure, Dr. Zaborovsky treats every patient interaction as an opportunity to build the foundation of a lasting relationship.

“I want every patient to see that they are not just a number,” she says. “What’s most important to me is transparency, whether it involves a procedure, the cost, or the benefits, so they can make informed decisions about their care. We’re not a spa office—not yet—but patients can expect high-quality, personalized dental care. I’d say the biggest part of my mission is to make patients feel comfortable with me and the care I provide.”

Besides general and preventive dental care, Bucks Mont Dental provides an array of cosmetic dentistry services. Dr. Zaborovsky specializes in full smile makeovers, to include veneers, Invisalign clear-aligner therapy, and neuromodulator injections. She also enjoys performing surgical procedures such as the placement of dental implants.

That said, Dr. Zaborovsky views dentistry as about much more than clinical care. It’s about honesty, professionalism, and engagement, delivered in an environment that puts patients at ease. Some of the feedback she has received so far suggests she has even changed patients’ perceptions of what a trip to the dentist’s office should be. One Google reviewer described her as “the best dentist I’ve seen in a long time.” Another characterized her as a “very caring and attentive” professional who “takes the time to listen to all of your concerns.”

“What I’m doing here is about much more than fixing someone’s teeth,” she says. “It’s about making a difference in someone’s health, because oral health and overall health are closely linked. It’s also how people feel about themselves.”

Dr. Zaborovsky grew up in Boston. She attended the University of Massachusetts for her undergraduate degree in biology and then earned her Master of Science in biomedical sciences at Barry University in Miami. Her journey came full circle when she returned to Boston for her dental doctorate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

“I had a few painful dental procedures as a child, which probably sparked my interest, but I began thinking of dentistry as a possible career as early as high school,” she says. “I loved art, particularly jewelry making and pottery, and I also loved the sciences. I realized that dentistry paired those two things together very well. I also had a few good mentors growing up; I had been an assistant in a dental practice from age 18 up until dental school.”

Dr. Zaborovsky came to the Philadelphia area by way of her fiancé, a native of Newtown. They now live in Montgomery County, where she chose to open her practice.
While running a successful practice comes with its share of challenges, Dr. Zaborovsky says the journey has been even more gratifying than she had hoped it would be. With Bucks Mont Dental earning more and more community support, Dr. Zaborovsky sees a future as bright as the smiles she helps to create every day.

Looking ahead to 2025, she expects to invest in more new technology that will further enhance the patient experience, as well as continue adding new tools and techniques to her armamentarium.

“I’ve built this practice on a foundation of respect, trust, and a genuine desire to help other people,” she says. “I’m here for my patients every step of the way, whether it’s their very first visit or their 100th. I want my patients to know I’m going to treat their dental health with the utmost importance, and I want to make sure they have the support they need to have good overall health and a beautiful smile that lasts a lifetime.”
