A Lasting Bond
What the past four decades of being a dentist on the Main Line have meant to me.
When people ask me why I chose to practice dentistry on the Main Line, specifically in Wayne, I cannot help but smile before I answer. The truth is that this is where I always envisioned myself having my own practice. Why? Because civic pride and a sense of unity run high in Wayne, among residents and business owners alike. It’s the kind of place where everyone feels connected.
As a dual-trained prosthodontist and periodontist, I have spent close to 40 years doing the most complex dental implant surgeries and restorations, as well as all manner of general dentistry, for patients of all ages and backgrounds. That said, my work is about much more than creating and maintaining healthy smiles; it’s about making healthy connections, doing my part to build a strong community, and earning trust in the same neighborhoods that have shaped my life.
In bigger cities, dentistry can feel anonymous—you may never bump into your dentist outside of an appointment. That’s hardly the case here. The Main Line has the soul of a small town with the vibrancy of a thriving city. Each morning, as I drive to my office on East Lancaster Avenue, I see familiar faces: neighbors, families, local shop owners. Many of those same people eventually make their way to my waiting room, ready to take a seat in my dental chair and have me solve whatever issue brought them to me.
Supporting this community—and each other—is woven into our cultural DNA. Our shared connection has deepened my commitment to providing the best possible care, because I’m not just treating patients; I’m caring for neighbors and friends. Yes, I own a business in town, but I also shop at the same local boutiques, I eat at the same family-owned restaurants, and I attend many of the same community events as my patients do.
Running a dental practice like mine for as long as I have has been possible only because of the community’s ongoing support. I invest in the Main Line every single day—not just as a business owner, but as someone who loves this area. I know families and professionals often need early-morning or lunchtime appointments to fit dental care into their packed days. That personal knowledge shapes the way I approach care and build trust. I’m proud to say that, in return, the community has invested in me and my business. I couldn’t be more honored.
Dentistry often gets reduced to technical terms—bridges, crowns, dental implants, etc.—but at its heart it’s about people. It’s about listening to concerns, helping someone with a dental phobia feel comfortable at their first visit (and every one thereafter), and helping patients rediscover their confidence with healthier, better-functioning, more aesthetically pleasing smiles. And that’s what my team and I do every single day.
My Invitation to You
This time of year feels like the perfect time to reflect on my journey over the past four decades. While October is a time for jack-o-lanterns, costumes, and scary movies, it’s also important for reasons pertaining to your health. Did you know that October is National Dental Hygiene Month? It’s a time to celebrate the habits that keep our smiles healthy year-round: brushing twice daily, flossing, staying hydrated, and seeing your dentist regularly.

It’s a time to celebrate the habits that keep our smiles healthy year-round: brushing twice daily, flossing, staying hydrated, and seeing your dentist regularly.
October is also National Stress Awareness Month. Many don’t realize that stress has a direct connection to oral health. Grinding teeth, clenching jaws, and neglecting routines can all lead to serious dental issues that can, in turn, lead to broader health issues elsewhere in the body. I often see this in patients who are balancing demanding jobs, family responsibilities, and life’s many pressures. Talking openly about these connections allows me to help patients in ways that go beyond teeth—supporting their overall health.
It’s also a time of year when the Main Line truly comes alive—the leaves turning shades of red and gold, the cool breeze blowing down Lancaster Avenue, the buzz of families heading to pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and football games. It’s a season of transformation and tradition. As the leaves fall and we gather with friends and family to celebrate the autumnal traditions that make the Main Line special, I invite you to think about your health, your smile, and your community connections. Choosing a dentist close to home isn’t just convenient; it’s also a way of keeping our shared circle strong.
This community has given me so much over the years, and I have done my best to give back by providing excellent dental care as well as by offering genuine and continued support to the community beyond the walls of my office. If you have been looking for a dentist who understands your health needs as well as your community, I’d love to welcome you to my practice. More than just your dentist, I am also your neighbor, your health advocate, and someone who wants to make sure you feel seen, heard, and prioritized with each visit.
I feel grateful for the opportunity to work in such a supportive, vibrant, and unique corner of the world. It has been a vital part of my personal story, as have all of the patients who have trusted me with their health for nearly 40 years. I welcome you to be part of that story, too.
