When Bonnie Benedetto was in college and beginning to imagine a life for herself, she envisioned a career in medicine. She studied pre-med during her time at the University of Miami, though she ultimately chose a different path. A self-described “entrepreneur at heart,” Benedetto found that she had the precise skills needed to build and sustain the kind of business that creates a devoted clientele.
Since 2011 she has been fulfilling both interests—medicine and business—as the practice director of Bella Body Medical Spa in Yardley. Bella Body provides clients with anti-aging and spa treatments of the highest quality, all delivered in a luxurious yet kindhearted environment. As a full-service medical spa, Bella Body offers clients a diverse selection of medical-grade beauty services, such as injectables, microneedling, and body contouring, among others, as well as self-care services such as therapeutic massage.
“We started this practice in a much different capacity than we are today, and we’ve been growing and expanding ever since,” says Benedetto, noting that Bella Body first leased space from another med spa. “Fourteen years is a long time, and I think we’ve endured because we have genuinely nice people working for us who excel at making sure our clients feel warm and welcomed.
“When people come here they say it feels like coming to a spa, and that’s important, but what we do is about much more than a feeling,” she continues. “Our providers have invested in their education and have decades of experience, so they are very capable. People expect their results to be amazing, and they want the service to be just as good. We’re here to meet, if not exceed, those expectations. One person leaving here saying they had a good experience is the best kind of advertisement we can ask for, and we’ve been fortunate to have benefited from the compound interest of a lot of happy clients over the years.”
Bella Body’s team of providers includes experienced aesthetic nurses, board certified aestheticians, injectors, skin specialists, lash technicians, and bodywork professionals. Among them is Jaclyn “J Marie” McCreesh, RN, BSN, an aesthetic nurse specialist who has earned her reputation as one of the most skilled and sought-after nurse injectors in the Philadelphia area.
McCreesh has been a mainstay in Bucks County’s beauty community for nearly 20 years; some of her current clients have been with her for almost as long. She started her career as an aesthetician, nail technician, and makeup artist, building her expertise and knowledge of facial anatomy—as well as her client list—with each passing year. A proponent of continuing education, she returned to school for an advanced nursing degree as a way to enhance her clinical skills on behalf of her clients.
McCreesh is best known for her expertise in injectables such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers, as well as biostimulatory products to kickstart the human body’s innate ability to produce collagen. That said, she also enjoys performing energy-based aesthetic treatments such as Ultherapy, which uses focused ultrasound energy to improve the elasticity and firmness of the face, neck, and décolletage.
“I believe that people will look their most beautiful when they look like themselves,” McCreesh says. “What I do is help people maintain their youthfulness and soften the aging process. I’m conservative when it comes to injectables; I want to make sure no one looks overdone. Each patient is different, so everything begins with setting expectations and helping them navigate what the best options are for them.”
Bella Body’s relaxed environment and collaborative mindset among providers, with everyone working together to help patients achieve their goals, has helped McCreesh feel right at home. Of course she also appreciates the “really big palette” of aesthetic options from which to choose.
“We have everything from entry-level treatments to the most advanced procedures,” she adds. “Our job as providers is to steer [clients] through all the options, and that’s especially important if they are new to the aesthetic world. We also do medical skin care, relaxing massages and facials, lashes and permanent makeup—just a great variety of ways to help people feel better about themselves.
“Everyone ages differently, so the assessment is the most important part of what we do,” she continues. “Because it’s such a relaxed environment here, you have time to talk to people, get to know them, and make sure they are fully informed of their options so they can decide on the best choices for them.”

Benedetto takes pride in Bella Body’s sanctuary-like feel, helped along by an internal culture in which providers take the initiative to make sure each client feels seen, heard, and valued.
“We have seen so much change over the past 14 years,” she says. “We have watched clients’ kids grow up and celebrated with them as those kids have gotten engaged. We have helped plan weddings. We have gotten to know so much about the lives of people who come to us, and that honestly has been the best part of what we do.”
While some establishments seem intent on advertising quick fixes and low prices, Bella Body Medical Spa stands out as a place where the journey matters as much as the result. Benedetto sees the work she and her providers do as restorative in nature, not only in terms of someone’s appearance, but also how they feel about themselves and their place in the world.
“Everyone here genuinely likes each other, and I think our clients can feel that,” she says. “I usually leave here later in the afternoon, and as I get in my car I look back at the entryway and see the window with the lights on, and everything is humming along. I thank God for this wonderful space, and I pray that every person who walks in that door feels appreciated, genuinely welcomed, and truly loved.”
