Senior Living That Frees You to Enjoy It All
If you are like many older adults, two things top your list for a happy, meaningful life: maintaining your independence, and staying connected to the friends and neighborhood you know and love. You can do both at Daylesford Crossing senior living community in Paoli.
Main Line Location
Situated in a cherished neighborhood known for tree-lined streets and friendly ambiance, Daylesford Crossing’s Main Line location is a major draw for older adults.

“So many of our residents wanted to stay in the area they know and love,” says Marybeth Cannon, sales specialist for Daylesford. “The Main Line means familiar shopping, dining, business services, and more within easy reach. It also is easy for friends and family to drop by.”
Carefree Living For More Independence
Living at home, an older adult might struggle with cooking, cleaning, or repairs. Daylesford Crossing lifts those burdens from their shoulders, according to Cannon.

“They are free to spend time with friends, pursue our MOSAIC program of hobbies, exercise daily, or just relax,” she adds. “They can get back to what they love but had to give up. For example, going to the Philadelphia Flower Show. We can make that happen.”
Friends Are Close By
“Opportunities abound for socializing, but if you are more of an introvert, you can attend a concert, take a walk, or curl up with a good book,” says Cannon. “Living at Daylesford, you still receive the benefits of having others close by.”

In this boutique-sized senior living community, residents and staff greet each other by name. The result—a proactive approach to healthy aging.
“If Sally regularly attends morning exercise, but she missed today’s session, others will note that and we will check on her,” says Cannon. “We are very much a family here.”
Independence With Peace or Mind
Another aspect of Daylesford Crossing that supports healthy aging while also promoting independence is the option of Independent Living Plus.

“We say it’s Independent Living plus a little something extra,” says Cannon. “It’s ideal for an adult of a certain age or someone with a chronic health issue who would appreciate having support available if needed.”
Independent Living Plus residents come and go as they choose, while benefiting from having an extra set of eyes on them.
“If Mom is having a bad day, we let the family know she will get a helping hand without having to give up her privacy or independence,” says Cannon. Should a resident eventually require the services included in Personal Care, they will not have to move to another apartment.
Personal Care and Memory Care
Daylesford Crossing also offers two care levels: Personal Care for those residents who need daily assistance with the activities of daily life, and Memory Care, for those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Specialized Parkinson’s Care and Respite Care also are available.

“It might be doing something they used to enjoy but had to give up, or having the freedom to try something new,” says Cannon. “Or, simply putting down that list of responsibilities and replacing it with new ways to have fun, enjoy life, and feel at home. Daylesford Crossing could be just right for them.”
